PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
Psychiatric services are available for post-adoption families. Psychiatric evaluations are completed to assess the need for medications for emotional or behavioral difficulties. If psychotropic medication is deemed appropirate, ongoing medication appointments will be scheduled to monitor the effectiveness of the prescribed medication(s). These services are provided by a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
