Specialized assessments and services are completed to assess relationships, make diagnostic impressions, assess the needs of an adoptive family, make recommendations for services and provide information for the adoption process.

Specialized assessments and services include:

Bonding Assessments - assess parent-child attachment/bond, sibling attachment/bond

Diagnostic Evaluations - evaluate for a specific diagnosis (Reactive Attachment Disorder)

Post-Adoption Crisis Intervention Assessments - assess post-adoptive families in crisis and recommend needed services and supports

Adoption Home Studies - provides detailed information about a prospective adoptive family to assist in the matching with prospective adoptive child(ren).

Child Studies - detailed assessment of the child for the purpose of adoption. It is used to provide full disclosure to the prospective adoptive family.
